Overview

As part of the 2025 Brisbane Open House program, QPAC is proud to once again open its doors for a rare behind-the-scenes look at one of Queensland’s most iconic cultural institutions.

For over 40 years, QPAC has been the home of live performance in Queensland – a place where audiences and artists connect, learn, and share stories. Welcoming over 1.5 million visitors annually to more than 1,200 performances, QPAC plays a vital role in shaping a more inclusive and resilient community through the power of the performing arts.

Join us on Saturday, 19 July for a series of guided tours running every 20 minutes from 9am to 11:20am.

Go beyond the auditorium and experience what it takes to bring live performance to life – from the stage to backstage, and everything in between. Bookings are essential. Come and discover the architecture, history, and creative heartbeat of QPAC.

Please note

This event is free. However, reservations are essential for attendance.

Tours run for approximately 1 hour.

The tour involves a significant amount of walking and the use of stairs.

QPAC is committed to making this event welcoming and accessible for everyone. please let us know when booking or call our QTIX Call Centre on 136 246 for more information. Accessible tours will be available at 9:40am and 11:00am.
