Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

Overview

QPAC’s longest running event, Spirit of Christmas returns this December to the iconic QPAC Concert Hall.

Musical theatre stars Daniel Belle (Les Misérables, Cinderella, My Fair Lady) and Nina Korbe (West Side Story, La bohème, Flight) will be joined by host Christie Whelan Browne (Muriel’s Wedding the Musical, Company, Xanadu) to headline our most celebrated concert of the year!

Joined by special guests Waveney Yasso and Ellie Carragher, our star-studded line-up will be beautifully supported by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Simon Kenway, and the exquisite voices of the Spirit of Christmas Choir – including members of the QPAC Chamber Choir, Mosaic Multicultural Choir, Cappella Chorale and Children’s Health Queensland Community Choir – and Voices of Birralee.

QPAC’s Spirit of Christmas is a celebration of the true meaning of the festive season; an occasion to rejoice and reflect on the year that has passed and embrace the season’s enduring message of Peace, Love and Joy.
