Eat & Drink by QPAC Survey Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

Go into the draw to win a $50 Eat & Drink by QPAC Gift Certificate 

Terms & Conditions  

By completing the survey and opting in to go into the draw, you agree to the following terms and conditions.  

  1. This prize draw is conducted by Queensland Performing Arts Trust trading as Queensland Performing Arts Centre, ABN 13 967 571 128, of corner Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank Qld 4101 (QPAC), telephone 07 3842 9144. 

  1. Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. The competition will be conducted during the Prize Draw Period (see clause 6, below). 

Eligibility  

  1. Entrants must be over 18 to enter the prize draw. 

  1. Entrants must not be:  

  1. a Board member, director, officer or employee of QPAC or any entity, agency or company associated with those organisations or the prize draw (including any prize suppliers); or 

  1. a member of the immediate family of any of the above.  

  1. Entrants complete the Eat & Drink by QPAC survey via the QR code or through the survey link and have accepted the terms and conditions of entry during the Prize Draw Period. 

Entry  

  1. The prize draw is deemed to have started at 9:00am (AEST) on Friday, 1 August 2025 and ends 7:00pm (AEST) on Sunday, 31 August 2025 (Prize Draw Period). 

  1. Entry to the prize draw is free. 

  1. All eligible entrants will be entered into the prize draw if they opt in and agree to the terms and conditions. 

  1. Only 1 entry is permitted per person. QPAC will not accept any additional entries. 

  1. QPAC may, at its absolute discretion, disqualify any or all entries from, prohibit further participation in this prize draw and/or refuse to award the prize to any person who: 

  1. tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the prize draw; 

  1. acts in violation of these conditions or in breach of law; 

  1. acts in a disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or 

  1. acts in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of QPAC or any of its related bodies corporate or the agencies or companies associated with this prize draw, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate. 

  1. QPAC is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or illegible entries, correspondence or claims for prizes due to error, omission, tampering, theft, destruction or otherwise. 

  1. Entries must be received during the Prize Draw Period. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by QPAC’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. QPAC has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. QPAC is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. Entrants who enter using multiple email addresses, phone numbers or aliases may be disqualified. Consumers are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet. Automatically generated entries may be disqualified. 

Draw  

  1. The prize draw will be drawn at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Cnr Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank, at 1:00pm (AEST) on Monday, 30 June 2025.  
     

  1. The first valid entry randomly drawn from all valid entries received during the Prize Draw Period will win the prize. 

Prizes 

  1. There is one prize to be won. The prize is a $50 Eat & Drink by QPAC Gift Certificate. In receiving the prize, you agree to the QPAC Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions.  
     

  1. The total prize pool is valued at $50. 
     

  1. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. The prize is not exchangeable for any other prize or transferable to any other person. QPAC will not substitute, replace or refund the prize. 

Winner Notification and Publication 

  1. QPAC will notify the winner by email or telephone within two days of the draw and the winner may have their name and state/territory of residence published at www.qpac.com.au on Tuesday 1 July 2025. By entering this prize draw, each entrant requests that their full address not be published. 

  1. QPAC’s decision of the results or any aspect of the prize draw is final. QPAC will not enter into any correspondence with entrants regarding the results. 

Prize claim date and unclaimed prize draw 

  1. The winner may claim their prize by contacting QPAC in accordance with the details set out in QPAC’s prize rewarding email by 9:00am (AEST) on Friday, 4 July 2025. If the prize has not been accepted or claimed by this time, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and QPAC will conduct a redraw at 10:00am (AEST) on Friday, 4 July 2025 at the same location as the original draw as necessary to distribute the prize, subject to any requirements of the relevant gaming authorities. Any winner in this redraw will be notified by email or telephone within 3 days of the unclaimed prize draw and may have their name and state/territory of residence published at www.qpac.com.au on Monday, 7 July 2025.  
       

  1. In order to claim and collect their prize and as a condition of their prize being awarded, winners must, if required by QPAC or any prize supplier, provide photographic proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at QPAC’s discretion. 
     

  1. QPAC will contact the winner to provide instructions on how the QPAC gift certificate will be sent to them.  

Privacy 

  1. By entering the prize draw, you agree that, if you win a prize and if required by QPAC, you will provide and/or allow QPAC to take a photograph of you and QPAC may use that photograph in conjunction with any advertising or promotion for QPAC. 
     

  1. For information about how QPAC uses your personal information and how to access or amend that information, please see our Privacy Policy.  

  1. By entering the prize draw, you consent to QPAC’s collection and use of your personal information as described above. 

General 

  1. QPAC is not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss or loss of profits) expense, damage or injury suffered or sustained by any person, arising directly or indirectly, through any act, omission (whether negligent or otherwise), out of or in connection with the prize draw or any prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).   
     

  1. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry in accordance with paragraph 20. 
     

  1. QPAC may communicate or advertise this prize draw using Facebook.  However, the prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.  Entrants are providing their information to QPAC and not to Facebook.  Each entrant completely releases Facebook from any and all liability. 
     

  1. If for any reason any aspect of this prize draw is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of QPAC , QPAC may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize draw, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant gaming authorities if required. 
     

  1. QPAC is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where this prize draw involves, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants will follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
