South Bank’s cultural precinct will come alive with a program placing the spotlight on insightful and challenging conversations and provide an escape to new and entertaining experiences. 

With an unparalleled line-up of speakers and performers, the festival brings together the dynamic connection between science and our everyday world.

The festival hosts a stellar line up of events, from the ultimate nerd showdown at Dr Karl and the Night of the Nerds to understanding the ways quantum mechanics are developing at Einstein and the Quantum: Unravelling the mysteries of Space and Time.

The Cultural Precinct will be turn into a science playground as part of the all new City of Science street event, with dozens of free science and family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy.

The program examines, explores and celebrates what we know, what we don’t and those working to find out why.
