In the heart of Brisbane/Meanjin, On the Banks is set to bring a stellar lineup of international and Australian acts to South Bank in March 2026. Presented by QPAC and South Bank Corporation, On the Banks will transform the Cultural Forecourt into a vibrant outdoor live music venue with bars and catering on the Brisbane River, against the iconic backdrop of the city skyline.
Featuring a diverse list of Australian and international headliners and supporting artists, On the Banks brings a melting pot of alternative, pop, garage, R&B, and hip-hop sounds to the riverside.

On the Banks is an outdoor, all-weather event. Light rain won’t stop the music, but in extreme conditions, updates will be shared via our website and social channels.

We recommend public transport – South Bank is serviced by buses, trains, and ferries. Limited parking is available nearby. If you’re getting dropped off, Stanley Street or Russell Street are your best options.
