Artists in Classrooms
Enviro-Beats is part of QPAC's Artists in Classrooms initiative, within the Creative Learning Program. Developed to extend the learning beyond the stage, these workshops are designed to be delivered in-school and provide inspiring, curriculum-linked experiences to your students.
Overview
Transform trash into musical treasure.
Turn rubbish into rhythm in the high-energy Enviro-Beats Workshop with the Junkyard Beats team. This hands-on experience fuses music, creativity, and environmental awareness as students transform everyday recycled materials into powerful percussion instruments.
Through collaborative music-making, participants build rhythm and performance skills while developing teamwork, confidence, and a deeper understanding of sustainability. Playful, interactive, and unforgettable, Enviro-Beats reimagines environmental education as an exciting creative adventure where nothing goes to waste.
This Artists in Classrooms offering is perfect for schools looking for a one-day residency to deliver a series of workshops across multiple year levels throughout the day. A half-day residency (min. 2 x 1 hour workshops) are also available, subject to availability.
