XANADU the Musical rolls into the Concert Hall at QPAC for six shows only this February. Get ready for a roller-skating, laugh-out-loud escape into a world of nostalgic hits and 80s dreams.

Before you even think about seeing this production, there is one rule you must follow… Leave the real world at the door!

Venice Beach, 1980. When Greek muse Clio descends from Mount Olympus to inspire a struggling artist, she straps on her skates, adopts an Aussie accent, calls herself Kira – and promptly breaks the one rule a muse must never break: she falls in love.

Based on the cult classic Universal film starring Olivia Newton-John, with Douglas Carter Beane’s Tony-nominated Broadway book and the unforgettable songs of Jeff Lynne and John Farrar, XANADU is packed with the hits you know by heart: “Magic”, “Xanadu”, “Suddenly” and “Evil Woman”.

This fully-staged Prospero Arts production is set to be pure escapism, joy and laughter under the disco lights we all dream of.

And remember… We have to believe we are magic!
