Leon Bridges brings The Happiness Anytime Tour to Brisbane

Get ready for an evening of joyful sounds, infectious grooves and timeless R&B at On the Banks.

Leon Bridges first captivated audiences with his platinum-certified, GRAMMY-nominated debut Coming Home, delivering timeless favourites including “River” and “Coming Home”. Since then, he’s continued to evolve his sound across critically acclaimed albums Good Thing, Gold-Diggers Sound and Leon, as well as his celebrated collaborations with Khruangbin.

Now, Bridges enters a new era with Happiness Anytime, a vibrant new album produced by Jungle’s J Lloyd and Lydia Kitto. Blending R&B, disco and global rhythms with his unmistakably warm voice, the album is built for movement, joy and long summer nights.

Bridges brings this energy to the stage with a reimagined live production featuring a vinyl DJ, horn section, three backing vocalists and Bridges himself back out front dancing once again.

Joining Bridges is 54 Ultra, the New Jersey-based artist weaving synthy indie rock and garage pop with a Latin heartbeat into his own distinctive sound. His debut EP, First Works, was named by Billboard as one of the Best Projects of the Year (So Far).

Hosted at the Cultural Forecourt, South Bank, against the stunning riverside backdrop of the Brisbane City skyline, this celebration of live music captures the essence of a Queensland summer – warm evenings, world-class performances, and an inviting community atmosphere. As the sun sets, On the Banks transforms the riverside into a hub of sound, connection, and creativity.
