Overview

Join The Roar Deal Podcast hosts Mike Whiting & Dom Fay in conversation with Triple Premiership Coach Chris Fagan about his extraordinary career.

When Chris Fagan was appointed Senior Coach of the Brisbane Lions in October 2016, the club was at rock bottom.

Significant debt, dwindling crowds and disastrous on-field performances had condemned the once-esteemed club to irrelevance, with the Lions needing a coach who could perform a miracle and restore the club to its glory days.

Ten years later, the miracle is complete.

Eight years of finals, four Grand Finals and three Premierships later, the success of the former Tasmanian schoolteacher has become one of the most remarkable coaching stories in Australian sporting history.

As Triple Premiership Coach Fagan departs the club with his mission accomplished, he will take to the Glasshouse Theatre stage to reflect on his remarkable decade in charge.
