Overview

The festive season begins in glorious fashion as Handel’s Messiah returns to QPAC’s Concert Hall in 2026.

Under the direction of Dr Graeme Morton AM, the Brisbane Chamber Choir and Brisbane Chamber Players are joined by distinguished guest soloists and more than 200 young choristers for a performance of exceptional scale and artistry.

From its luminous opening to the resounding “Hallelujah Chorus”, Messiah remains one of the great works of the classical repertoire – its extraordinary balance of grandeur, tenderness and spiritual depth continuing to move audiences across generations.

Renowned as one of Australia’s leading vocal ensembles, the Brisbane Chamber Choir brings together accomplished singers with a shared commitment to musical excellence, while inspiring and nurturing the next generation of choral artists.

Join them in this treasured Queensland tradition and experience the enduring beauty and majesty of Handel’s Messiah.

With a commitment to all styles of music and an uncompromising advocacy of Australian music, they [Brisbane Chamber Choir] represent a vital part of the Australian music heartbeat.
