Overview

In celebration of Andy Griffiths’ YOU & ME and The Land of Lost Things, we invite you as a Friend of QPAC to a thought provoking and joy filled onstage conversation exploring the power of creativity, storytelling, and literacy in shaping young minds.

Join bestselling author and newly appointed Australian Children’s Laureate Andy Griffiths, award-winning playwright Richard Tulloch, and respected arts educator Professor Sandra Gattenhof as they delve into the magical intersection of learning and play and why nurturing imagination is essential for the next generation of thinkers, dreamers, and readers.

Guided by facilitator Rebecca Livingstone, this 60 minute discussion will journey through the creative process behind YOU & ME and The Land of Lost Things, the critical influence of arts engagement on childhood development, and how stories can inspire resilience, empathy, and lifelong learning.

A conversation to inspire anyone who believes in creativity and the big, bold worlds that open when young people read, dream, and explore.
