Live at Melbourne Street Green is your ultimate Friday night knock off. In collaboration with a lineup of local creatives, QPAC brings you a rotating program of music, dance and performance that’s anything but ordinary.
From 5:30pm to 7:30pm, this free event invites you to embrace your curiosity – experience something familiar or discover something brand new.
With food and drinks available to purchase from Storytellers, Live at Melbourne Street Green is the perfect way to kickstart your weekend. Running in four seasons throughout the year, check out the full schedule and hear more about our co-collaborators below.

Elements Collective
Elements Collective are setting up a block party-style activation where they’ll showcase their social dance in a cypher – a freestyle circle – while an instructor introduces the fundamentals of Breaking to the public.
About Elements Collective
Founded in 2010 by champion b-girl Leah ‘Flix’ Clark, Elements Collective (EC) is an internationally recognised, Brisbane-based dance company known for its innovation and leadership in the Australian Hip Hop dance community. Creating award-winning touring productions, engaging community programs and public events, EC hosts some of the largest battles and workshops in the country, helping to foster the next generation of dancers while supporting local artists. Working with a team of highly skilled emerging and professional artists, EC continues to shape Australia’s Hip Hop dance scene through education, performance, and cultural engagement.

Omiya
Omiya is a DIY artist-management, record-label and booking company, with a focus on championing Asian diaspora in the Australian music scene.

Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University
Queensland Conservatorium is one of Australia’s leading music and performing arts schools, offering a wide variety of degree options, from classical music, jazz, opera, and popular music to musical theatre, acting, music technology and music education. Learning at the Queensland Conservatorium involves intense creative immersion, fosters a critical and inquisitive mindset and nurtures distinctive and inclusive artists, innovators, performers, producers, researchers, cultural leaders and global citizens, well-prepared to navigate and shape the 21st century.

Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC)
Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC) is Queensland’s leading multicultural arts organisation. Recognising that culture is constantly evolving, BEMAC’s programming examines discourses and perceptions on multiculturalism, migration, and identity, leveraging the arts as a platform in which to pose difficult questions, challenge entrenched ideas, and enable change. Through public performances, exhibitions, and creative collaborations, BEMAC showcases artists who might otherwise remain outside institutional recognition, including Australian-born artists from diverse backgrounds who explore hybrid cultural influences and question national identity.

indelarts
indelarts is a not-for-profit arts company that provides creative opportunities for artists with a disability and who are neurodivergent. They offer arts training and employment through their original touring shows, community events, and workshops.

QMusic
QMusic is the peak body for Queensland’s music sector, the state-wide representative voice for Queensland’s musicians, music workers, live music venues and fans.

World Science Festival Brisbane’s Lunar Lounge
Take a seat under the moon and stars at Lunar Lounge, and spend an evening being captivated by the smooth string sounds of Topology and Angel Strings that allows the mind to open and wonder in awe and curiosity at the universe above.
