With their evocative works reimagined for orchestra by composer Alex Turley (arranger for Genesis Owusu, Ngaiire and more), this collaboration with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Vanessa Scammell, will showcase Electric Fields’ awe-inspiring music on a grand scale.

About Electric Fields
Launching in 2015, Electric Fields rapidly gained recognition, performing in China, Scotland, and New Zealand within six months. They’ve since earned 29 awards, including multiple National Live Music Awards, holding the record for the most wins.
Their global presence includes performances at the Australian Open, AFL Grand Final, Central Park NYC, and embassies in Washington DC and Copenhagen. They’ve headlined festivals worldwide, including WOMAD UK, Edinburgh Festival and Sziget Festival in Budapest.
Their compositions extend to film and television, with an ARIA-winning score for Baz Luhrmann’s Faraway Downs and award-winning works for ABC KIDS and Electric Skies. Their 2021 live show INMA received standing ovations and the Pick of the Fringe Award.
In 2024, Electric Fields won an ARIA for Best Original Soundtrack Album and Best Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Band at the South Australian Music Awards. They received the Indigenous Language Award at the National Indigenous Music Awards and were finalists for an AACTA Award. Representing Australia at Eurovision in Sweden, they also performed with major symphony orchestras, including the Sydney, Adelaide, and Darwin Symphony Orchestras. Internationally, they played in Washington DC and New York City, and were formally recognized by the South Australian Parliament for their contributions to music.
With a fusion of electronic soul and First Nations culture, Electric Fields continues to push musical boundaries, captivating audiences globally.
