Overview
This concert brings QPAC’s The Art of the Possible artist, the inimitable pianist, Paul Grabowsky AO, together with Camerata in a program that celebrates tradition and reimagines it.
Hear Paul Grabowsky in this inspiring collaboration with Camerata where we will unveil a brand new, bespoke work for piano and strings. Be moved by the sensuality and French chic of Ravel’s String Quartet, experience Remember by Jamaican composer, Eleanor Alberga, whom we’ve just discovered, and enjoy a new take on an old favourite in Bach’s Air.
This will be a fresh, joyful, and exciting concert, not to be missed.
As always, join Camerata in the foyer after the concert to meet the musicians and have a chat.
I’m both thrilled and not just a bit intimidated to have Paul Grabowsky as our guest artist. What an insightful and thoughtful human being – those qualities shine through in his music making. Artists like this are truly good for the world.
