Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

Russell Street Wine Bar

¡Hola! Welcome to Russell Street Wine Bar, nestled at QPAC's southern end by the Playhouse Theatre.

Dive into our vibrant Spanish menu featuring invigorating Spritz cocktails, irresistible tapas, pizzas, and share plates bursting with bold flavours. Perfectly positioned for your pre-QPAC show indulgence.

Enjoy our warm, stylish ambiance with breathtaking views of South Bank and The Wheel of Brisbane — an ideal spot to unwind before your theatre experience.

Embrace the Spanish tradition of sharing the best food together. Savour Spanish charcuterie boards, artisan cheese plates, and a variety of traditional tapas like Galician Mussels, Ensaladilla, and Patatas Bravas. Drawing upon Chef Nathanael Hardie's adventures opening a restaurant in Spain last year, Chef Hardie has infused this experience into an authentic menu, ensuring an unforgettable journey.

Settle in at Russell Street Wine Bar, explore our extensive wine list boasting contemporary selections of organic and carbon-neutral wines, each sip celebrating distinct flavours. Our team have expertly curated a Spritz menu with vibrant flavours and stylish sips that perfectly complement one another. From the classic Aperol to French Orchard Spritz and twists like Sour Apple or Cherry, there's a Spritz for every palate.

Russell Street Wine Bar proudly showcases artworks by Judith Wright and Claudia Moodoonuthi as part of the ARTBANK initiative, supporting local artists. 100% of artwork leasing revenue fosters creativity within our community.

¡Buen provecho!
