Background in brief - I have worked for over 20 years across sales and marketing disciplines for some of Australia's leading tourism entities including BridgeClimb Sydney and Dreamworld as well as internationally in the entertainment sector at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. My passion for growing the profile of iconic destinations and events led me to QPAC to head up Strategic Communications incorporating publicity.
Passions/Hobbies - A diverse mix of film, theatre, dance, dinner parties, non-fiction, running and retail therapy – not all at once. Oh and I somehow squeeze in being a soccer mum; whistle blow!
Background in brief - Extensive communications, marketing and public relations experience within Government, Corporate, and Charity sectors including Air New Zealand, Canadian Consulate, SKYCITY Entertainment Group, and Variety The Children's Charity (NZ). My role as Publicity Manager at QPAC encompasses both corporate and events based publicity including managing publicity campaigns for shows and key events presented by QPAC and for external producers.
Passions/Hobbies – Dining out and entertaining at home, outdoor activities and holidays with my family, reading, languages, singing, yoga, running and continuing to learn and try new things. Of course I also love the performing arts and enjoy my role at QPAC immensely as I get to see so many fabulous shows and meet amazing artists.
Background in brief - I started my career at a lifestyle magazine in Hong Kong, before I returned to Brisbane to handle PR for the likes of Brisbane Festival, Museum of Brisbane, Opera Queensland and Queensland Music Festival. After a stint in marketing at Queensland Symphony Orchestra, I now manage publicity campaigns and content creation for shows presented by QPAC and external producers.
Passions/Hobbies – I'm an arts and culture lover with a particular fondness for live music, sci-fi and visual arts. At the moment, I'm bent on honing my jewellery making skills.
