QPAC’s Out of the Box festival for children eight years and under is back!
QPAC will be bursting at the seams with children eight years and under when the much-loved Out of the Box festival returns to take over the entire venue from 17 to 22 June 2025. Featuring a huge line-up of performances, workshops, free events and exhibitions, the festival includes cultural activity right across the Cultural Precinct, curated to celebrate and support aesthetic learning and imaginative play, for children and their families. Every festival, this experience has been enhanced by the dedication and enthusiasm of hundreds of Volunteers.
Volunteers are an integral part of the success of Out of the Box Festival. Without our highly valued Volunteers, we would be unable to provide such an enriching and enjoyable experience to the thousands of children and school groups who attend this event. If you are interested in joining our OOTB Volunteer team for 2025, please register your interest in the form below. After you submit your application, our team will reach out to you to complete some further details to ensure we are thoughtfully rostering Volunteers to get the most out of your experience.
Please note:
- You must be available for a minimum of 1 morning or afternoon shift across the festival dates;
- This work is children focused and QPAC requires all Out of the Box Volunteers to hold a valid, approved Queensland Working With Children Check or be willing to undertake the check and be approved prior to participating in any Out of the Box shifts;
- As a Volunteer you will not be financially reimbursed for your time.
