From 19 October 2026, and in addition to our a la carte menu, the Lyrebird launches the Express Pre-Show Dining Experience. Offering a curated set menu, designed to ensure a seamless and enjoyable pre-show experience without compromising on quality, flavour or service. Perfectly tailored for theatre-goers, guests can enjoy a thoughtfully selected two or three course menu, before the curtain calls.

For matinee guests, enjoy a touch of elegance with our handcrafted Lyrebird High Tea before select performances. This indulgent experience features a delicious selection of sweet and savoury delights, available with or without a glass of sparkling wine. Lyrebird High Tea is the perfect way to start your afternoon at QPAC.

Nestled alongside Cascade Court, Lyrebird provides an elegant setting to gather, celebrate and savour the anticipation of the performance ahead. The quintessential QPAC experience begins at the Lyrebird.

Recommended Dining Time

If you are dining prior to a performance, we recommend allowing 90 minutes to enjoy a three course meal or 60 minutes for a two course meal or high tea.

Entrée was tuna that was melt in the mouth perfect and a wonderful mushroom truffle dip with bread. The main was duck that was cooked to perfection. We finished up by 7 and went upstairs.
