If you are driving to QPAC, please note that our Performing Arts Car Park (P1) remains closed due to ongoing flood damage impacting the safe operation of the facility. At this stage we are unable to confirm when the car park will reopen.
Patrons are advised to instead park at other car parks in the vicinity of QPAC. There are a range of options within walking distance of QPAC including the South Bank car park (entry via Little Stanley St) and a number of Secure Parking facilities (including SW1 on Cordelia St and Southpoint car park on Tribune St). The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) car park is also close to QPAC, however this facility is often at capacity on weekends due to events in the Centre.

QPAC is located in a vibrant part of the city that is currently experiencing growth and development including roadworks that have temporarily changed access to the Centre, in particular our car park.
Please note, current roadworks may cause delays in travel times and we suggest you leave extra time to get to QPAC, so you don’t miss the start of your performance.

Driving to QPAC
There are a range of parking options around QPAC including:
Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre Parking
Best Parking for the Playhouse
Convenient parking for the Playhouse, with easy access via Russell Street. Fully automated with cash and card accepted at 13 Pay Stations available near the Grey Street entrance and adjacent to lifts throughout the car park. For fast pay option, simply payWave at entry and again at exit using the same credit card.
Entry via Grey Street (northbound) or Merivale Streets (southbound)
Parking: $20 (2-3 hours or after 6pm) Fully automated with cash and card accepted at 13 Pay Stations
Opens: 24 hours; 7 days
Maximum height: 2.1-2.3m (depending on entry point)

Parking: Approximately $20-$25 (3-4 hours); special rates after 6pm for online bookings. Pay at pay stations before exit

Other Car Parks – Secure Parking
Secure Parking offer evening and weekend parking at SW1 (32 Cordelia Street). Parking must be pre-booked online using Secure-a-Spot by selecting car park SW1. Once booked you will receive a PIN to enter and exit the car park.
QPAC can easily be accessed by public transport.

QPAC can be accessed by bicycle from every side of the building including the Riverside Bikeway and Victoria Bridge. For details on bikeways and shared pathways in the precinct please visit Brisbane City Council: Cycling in Brisbane. Bicycles can also be taken on CityCats, ferries and Brisbane trains.
If travelling on your bicycle, there are a range of storage options around QPAC:
Please note that QPAC can take no responsibility for possessions or bikes stored at any of these facilities. Stowing your bike outside of designated areas could result in a fine or your bike being impounded, so please take care to store your bike thoughtfully.
Patrons in wheelchairs or who have difficulty walking can be set down at the designated drop off zones on Grey St (both southbound and northbound). The southbound drop off zone just outside QPAC is the best option for Lyric Theatre, Concert Hall and Cremorne Theatre performances.
There is also a PWD drop zone accessible on Russell Street, which is best for Playhouse performances. Although Russell St is currently closed to general traffic due to construction works, PWD drop off is still available via traffic control attendants.
Please be aware that the set down areas have limited capacity and we recommend you allow sufficient time for possible delays.

Parking for people with mobility difficulties is available in all car parks.
Due to ongoing roadworks on Grey St, there have been changes to the drop off zones for coaches and buses. Passengers can be safely set down on Grey Street outside Queensland Museum or at State Library of Queensland.
