We are pleased to announce The Nutcracker will be rescheduled to 2021, and we are working hard with our venue partners to finalise the dates and theatres for the rescheduled performances.
Tickets purchased for 2020 performances will be automatically exchanged into new dates in 2021 – there is no need for you to take any action. Patrons will be advised of their new ticket details between August and September, with all patrons being advised no later than 30 September 2020. You may request a refund at any time by emailing refunds@qtix.com.au. If you do this, you may wish to consider donating the ticket value to Queensland Ballet, which we will treat in line with our Donor Promise.

At the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve, little Clara finds herself embarking on the magical adventure of a lifetime when her gift, a Nutcracker, comes to life! Be whisked away with Clara, to the enchanting Land of Sweets where the Sugar Plum Fairy watches over whimsical snowflakes and pirouetting lollies.

For the eighth consecutive season, Ben Stevenson’s dreamlike choreography and Tchaikovsky’s enduring score will charm all ages and bring a bit of magic to your Christmas celebrations. This enchanting production is the perfect festive ballet for the whole family to enjoy.
