Jayson Gillham is a brilliant young Australian pianist forging an international career. London-based, he has given numerous recitals at the Wigmore Hall and performed with leading orchestras including the London Philharmonic, Hallé Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra and the major Australian orchestras. He is an exclusive ABC Classics recording artist and recently recorded concertos by Medtner and Rachmaninov with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Gillham was the winner of the prestigious 2014 Montreal International Piano Competition and has successfully reached the final rounds of the Leeds and Van Cliburn competitions and the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Critics have spoken of his “star quality, technical prowess and natural musicality”, with one being reminded at various times of Artur Rubinstein” An avid chamber musician, he has performed with the Jerusalem, Carducci and Brentano quartets.
