QPAC’s Clancestry – A Celebration of Country 2022

13 to 28 May 2022

QPAC’s Clancestry – A Celebration of Country | 13 to 28 May 2022

As our ancestors have done for thousands of years before us, we come together to create, connect, and share. QPAC’s Clancestry – A Celebration of Country is an annual First Nations festival proudly programmed and curated by Australian First Nations People.

In 2022 QPAC’s Clancestry – A Celebration of Country returns to celebrate everything that is beautiful, black and deadly about First Nations Peoples, across more than two weeks of activities, concerts, workshops, drag, music circus and much more!

Clancestry is proudly run by Australian First Nations Peoples and supports over a hundred First Nations artists every year.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors – our First Nations Peoples – gives strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, towards creating a better Queensland.
