The incredibly talented students from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University Performing Arts join us for a fourth year. Their polished performances have won over larger audiences each year. This year they will be joined by Rob Mills.
Developing his love of the stage and performing whilst studying Music and Drama at Brentwood Secondary College, Rob first came to the nation’s attention in 2003 as a finalist on the first series of Australian Idol. In 2008, he won the coveted lead male role of Fiyero in the hugely successful production of Wicked and continued the role when it toured around Australia. He has since starred in a number of popular large scale musical theatre productions, and appears in several television shows.
Star of stage and screen Rob will perform songs from Jesus Christ Superstar, Last Five Years, Grease and Wicked.
Our ever-popular collaboration with the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University Performing Arts continues in our production That’s Show Business. These 90 young artists have stunned our audiences with their energetic and highly entertaining routines in recent years, and 2019 will be no different. Rob Mills will be our very special guest artist and he brings a wealth of showbiz experience from his performances in shows like Wicked, Grease, Hair and Legally Blonde as well as his many television roles.
