Every Friday night during Clancestry on the Melbourne Street Green
QPAC’s audience favourite will run across Clancestry on Friday night’s during the Festival in 2022. Programmed by Blak Social and including artists such as Uncle Joe Geia and Rochelle Pitt, Clancestry’s Blak Social Green Jam is every Friday at 5:30pm from 13 to 27 May.

Joe Geia is a renowned singer/songwriter, guitarist, didgeridoo player and influential figure in the development of contemporary Indigenous music. He writes music of bravery and beauty, telling of Aboriginal life in Australia, of the quest for justice and belonging, of history, family and love.

Rochelle Pitt is Noonuccal, Kalkadoon and Erubian descent who started singing and performing at a young age in the churches and choirs of Far North Queensland. Her long journey has forged a powerful voice that celebrates the strength, beauty and love within all of us.
Rochelle’s newest EP, Soul Mumma was released in December 2017, and today she continues to enjoy performances across Australia at music festivals, community events and across the corporate sector.

Toni Janke is a Wuthathi and Meriam woman. Her family is originally from Cape York, North Qld and Murray Island in the Torres Strait. She grew up in Cairns and later Canberra. Toni now lives and works in Brisbane, Qld.
Toni is an award-winning singer/songwriter who has been writing her own songs and performing as an artist since her early 20s. She has performed at various festivals and events across Australia.
