World Premiere Season
Immerse yourself in Manifesto, an explosive ‘tattoo to optimism’ with electrifying dancing and huge, raw sound. Mass drumming and dance have historically represented military might – Manifesto flips antiquity on its head to bring us a rally cry to solidarity.
Situated on a grand elevated set reminiscent of Busby Berkley, nine explosive drummers encircle nine astonishing dancers.
Starting with a bang, the show becomes more complex and thrilling as it builds towards a wildly loud and powerfully danced crescendo. Created in collaboration with internationally renowned audio-visual artist and composer Robin Fox and a superb team of designers and performers.
Drums and dance. What a combo. You'll be on the edge of your seat, heart beating in time with the driving power of nine drum kits, accompanied by a stunning visceral ensemble performance that speaks to revelry and artistry, and an immense passion for both.

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors – our First Nations Peoples – gives strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, towards creating a better Queensland.
