The QPAC International Series brings the world’s leading performing arts companies exclusively to Brisbane. Since 2009, QPAC has welcomed seven of the world’s best to its stages under the banner of the QPAC International Series: The Paris Opera Ballet, Ballet Nacional de Cuba, Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Hamburg State Opera, The Hamburg Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Preljocaj, The Royal Ballet and Teatro alla Scala Ballet Company (La Scala Ballet).
The QPAC International Series builds on a main stage program of performances to include collaborations with Australian companies and an extensive community program that links visiting companies with local artists, audiences, business. The intent is to foster cultural exchange and relationships that extend long after the season.
